2025 Scenic E-Tech's weight advantage

The significant weight difference between the Scenic E-Tech and its competitors is a major talking point. Does this lighter weight translaet to a noticeable difference in real-world driving? How much of a difference does it really make?

A lighter EV is definitely a plus but how much of a difference it makes depends on battery efficiency and handling. If Renault managed to cut weight without sacrificing range or safety that’s impressive. But if it comes at the cost of smaller battery capacity or reduced insulation the trade-off might not be as great as it sounds.
