If you’re looking at a used Renault Scenic E-Tech EV, here are a few things to keep in mind before buying:

1. It comes with 20-inch wheels – Looks great, but seasonal tire replacements can get pricey.
2. Some early models had recalls – No major red flags, but it’s worth checking for past issues and updates.
3. Mileage matters – Many high-mileage Scenics were used as taxis, so double-check for wear on the interior, brakes, and suspension.

If you’re in the market, would you go for a low-mileage Scenic, or is another EV a better deal at the same price?

Smart move coz those things are slick! But those 20-inchers are gonna bite you come tire-change time, so factor that into your budget. And you're spot-on with the recalls, always do your homework! That taxi thing is a real concern, though – you don't want a "low mileage" car that's been driven hard. Personally, I'd lean towards a lower mileage example, even if it meant paying a bit more, just for the peace of mind. Honestly, at that price point, it's worth comparing it to other used EVs, maybe a slightly older model from a different brand with a proven track record could be a better deal. Do some digging and see what else is out there, you might be surprised!

Great checklist, a low-mileage Scenic sounds ideal, but at the same price, I’d compare range, charging speed, and warranty with other EV options first.
