Hey all, took a Scenic for a spin today. Was pretty into it, but man, those steering wheel controls are crazy! Anyone here actually own one? Is the boot lip as high as it looks, or am I just imagining things? And for those rocking the lower-spec models, what’s the deal—any major pros or cons I should know about?

Hey, I have a friend who got one, and overall, it hass been solid. He said he had no real issues in the first 2,000 miles. The boot is definitely deep, so you are not imagining things!
If you are planning on putting a dog back there, just know the window is small, and it can get a bit dark.

Oh, good to know about the boot! I was kind of wondering about that. As for the dog, I’m not planning to haul any furballs, but I do have a lot of stuff I throw back there. How’s the space for everyday gear? And how about the drive itself—anything unexpected or any quirks I should keep an eye out for?

The boot's surprisingly spacious once you get used to the depth, and it’s great for everyday gear. As for the drive, it's smooth overall, but the steering can feel a little heavy at low speeds. It’s not a dealbreaker, but just something to get used to. The tech’s pretty solid, though, so no complaints there!
